She has been studying with me for about two months now and is doing a great job.

Student of the week

Kavita is one of my multi talented percussion and drum set students.

Kavita has done a recital on bongos, and is now working on this very popular song on drums called “Happy”.

I’m sure you all know what song I’m talking about. It’s one of those songs you can’t help but be happy when you play it.

Spencer is one of my former students, but I chose to feature him because he over came several obstacles. spencer was
four years old when he started drum lessons with me. I started him on drum set but also did some piano lessons and found out that he really liked reading music, so I started implementing more reading into his drum lessons.

Spencer did his first recital on December of 2013 and did a great job. Hope you keep playing drums Spencer, as
you did a might fine job.

Today I want to feature one of my in-home students. Arik started with me about Three months ago and is doing a great job. He is a very focused student and always practices even with his busy schedule. Arik loves his drumming so much that he wants to take a lesson on his birthday which is just around the corner.

This is the type of student that makes everything I do as a teacher worthwhile. Keep the good work and I’ll see you on your next lesson.
